New Zealand trip

Is been so long since I last update this blog ( p/s: I even forgot about this blog's existence *laugh* )
Currently I am having a long summer break. like really long.
And, I went to New Zealand with my daddy and brother for 2 weeks time. Woohoo~~

The duration of my trip was 15 days (28/6 till 12/7). Which means, I just got back from the trip hehe.
New Zealand was certainly beautiful, everywhere was green and blue.
Mountains, sheeps and cows were all along the road which was quite a spectacular view.
It was cold there but I heard that the temperature was warm compared to the past. ( It was between -1 to 13 degree Celsius throughout my trip )

I felt quite thankful to my cousin for giving support and helping hand throughout the trip as my cousin migrated there for quite some time. We stayed at her house, and she provide us information and food for the trip.

Probably because New Zealand is an Eco-friendly country, they preserve the nature as much as possible. The citizen there maintain a healthy lifestyle as it is noticeable that people around there prefer walking over transportation.

We visited several parks in New Zealand and it was quite amazing, The park there was really really really big. One of the park that gave me a big impression was the Cornwall park. The park was really big, with lots of beautiful planting and animals. You could really feel close with the nature and relaxing around there. Furthermore, there are hills in the park which allow you to walk around for better surrounding view ( you could even see the whole city on top of the hill ! )

Beside staying in the north island, we flew to the south island as well.
Since it was winter during our trip, we decided to try out skiing. YAYYYYY
IT IS THE FIRST EXPERIENCE OF SKIING IN MY LIFE AND IT IS DAMN NICE AND EXCITING. We went to the remarkable ski field as most of the ski field there were close ( the depth of snow haven't reach the required height for skiing ). I have quite a good smack directly right on my face when I was trying to ski. It was hard to control and I didn't know how to stop, leading to such incident. Luckily, I signed up for the adult group lesson there, and learnt some basic skill and knowledge about skiing. After a few try, I could control my movement much more better. Although it was fun, but to be honest, it was cold to death haha, It snow for a bit, just a bit, that day on the mountain,

Next day after skiing, we went to Milford sound, which is a place that describe nature really well. It was an unforgettable trip as the view there was extremely beautiful. The place wasn't explore and develop into commercial. We sat on the cruise and tour around, seeing the mountains, waterfall and wild life animal such as seal and dolphins. And the lake there was clear and steady, leads to a "mirror" view effect. You could clearly see the reflection of sky and mountains, connecting together as an image.

Extreme sports and outdoor activities are well-known there. It was quite pricey after conversion but since I travel so far here, why not have a try of it? I did my first bungee jump here in Kawarau bridge which is also the world first bungee site. IT WAS VERY EXCITING AND FUN BUT SCARY IN THE SAME TIME THAT I STILL REMEMBER THE FEELING OF IT. You can't feel the rope until u reach the bottom of the jump, like seriously, U CAN'T FEEL THE ROPE. It takes lots of courage for jumping off the "cliff", But believe me, it is worthy, you won't regret doing so, the feeling after the jump is simply amazing that I don't know how to describe it with words. Before I end this section, I have to say that we are quite lucky to see a view of a man bungee jump in naked, completely naked, even without the underwear on. The crew said that it is a very rare sight and I think so too haha *laugh*

After we flew back to north island to continue our trip, we went to Rotorua as it is famous for the volcanic site. We also visited the glowworm cave in Waitomo. I have to admit that the glowworm cave is really beautiful that I am willing to spend time in there again. No picture is allow throughout the exploration in the cave. We learnt about the facts of glowworm from their born till death. The most impressive experience in that cave was sitting the boat passing the river in complete dark. You could lift your head up and look around. The view was like galaxy, but shinning in blue and green.

There's still much more places that I visited, and this trip is worthy and excellent although we have some argument during the trip. Might visit this beautiful place again next time ( not so soon ) if possible haha. Woooahhhh.
